Mikem Inc. will typically survey a facility's power sources and equipment with a portable, self-powered infrared imaging system, that is sensitive to temperature variances of one-tenth of a degree Fahrenheit. This thermal image is recorded, making a very detailed study and evaluation possible. A thermographic survey is the most modern and up-to-date non-contact method of the following:

1. A non intrusive, non contact evaluation of electrical power distribution systems to detect loose connections, over heated transformers, insulation break down, and over heated circuit breakers. This will reveal the cause of abnormality that creates resistance in conduction and excessive heat production as well as detecting proper or improper operation.
